St. Barnabas School is a Chicago Archdiocese campus located in the Beverly neighborhood. Part of the St. Barnabas parish founded in the 1920s, the school’s motto is “Where Tradition Meets Innovation.” The school offers a dynamic and diversified learning environment, where educational experiences promote unity, respect, and individuality. St. Barnabas School serves approximately 500 students in pre-K through eighth grade. Its campus provides modern classrooms with access to learning technology and whiteboards. The school’s service learning emphasis gives students a chance to learn with the goal of helping their peers and community. Initiatives include projects focused on Special Olympics, animal shelters and nationwide disaster relief efforts.
Programs such as Project MATCH — encouraging math and reading skills — and Buckeye Blocks — exploring areas like executive functioning, personal development, and school counseling topics — round out rigorous academic subjects like Spanish, music and the arts. After-school programs include yoga, chess, entrepreneurship club, athletics, theatre and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) courses.
St. Barnabas School hosts before- and after-school care for students at all grade levels. Parent involvement is encouraged through classroom volunteering and engagement with the online parent portal.

They want to instill a fear in children so that they don't tell their parents anything , and the way they get paid is by taking the children to the office or by reporting it to the entire classroom . Marking the children feel ashamed As if the children pay to school . That's bad.

I went to this school for 10 years. Everything up to 6th grade was great. I was being bullied non-stop in 6-8th grade and the administrators seemed to not care in the slightest. My children have had a wonderful experience at St. Barnabas. They look forward to going to school every day (well, almost every day). The teachers and staff are dedicated and the school does a great job balancing all of the present challenges in education.

St. Barnabas was an amazing g school years ago and is still an amazing school today. My children have excelled academically, emotionally as well as socially. I’m so glad I chose to give my kids this experience. Administration and teachers are top notch and truly care about the kids they teach.
