We are parents with a child at this school from K-4th. Academics are great up to this point - far above avg for CPS. We have had good teachers. Teachers differentiate for kids of different abilities. There is great diversity and very few behavior issues. It is a small school without a lot of after school programs or resources. Great Math, Science and Computer Science classes in particular. Cannot comment on upper grades yet.

Don't believe the hype. If this is the best CPS has to offer, then the district is in a sad state. A parent who took their child out a couple of years ago told me not to go here because "this is where true learning comes to die". I didn't believe her then, but 2 yrs later I see it as a sad reality....
