The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience with Chipley High School has been fairly positive. My counselors have been very resourceful in terms of providing information about dual enrollment options. I have been able to complete many high school classes online which has given me the ability to graduate high school with 60+ hours of college credit.

Chipley High School has been a very open and helpful school. All the teachers and staff members there are always ready to help out any student that is in need. They care deeply for their students and make sure everyone feels welcomed.

Moved to the area transferring my child from a bigger school mid year. This school was not welcoming nor offered the courses my child was enrolled in. Librarian was very rude, even talking about and to my child who has always been an exemplary student who, excelled academically as if she were a degenerate. Opted for online learning. Already considering moving due to poor education options
