I enjoyed my time as a student. The majority of the teachers knew the subject and taught it well. As an SCPA major, my favorite classes were the art classes. The teachers there were very obviously passionate in the material being taught, and helping students improve their artistic skills.

The best parts of being apart of the Chula Vista High School community is the positive and safe environment that surrounds the school, the staff and administration are really nice, they are really warming and approachable. The assembly's that the school has are really fun and entertaining and it's something that every student looks up to every time there is one, because of the theme that we might have, the songs, karaoke time and activities for example there was this time were it was students versus staff and just to see all of the emotions that surrounded the gym, just really shows how amazing the school spirit is. Some of the not so great parts of the school is how they don't support other sports like they do for football, which I don't think is bad that they get support and help is just that they don't help the rest of the sports to try to rebuild their program back again like it used to be once. I would like to see more support from the school administration towards other sports.

Overall, this high school was great. The only thing that is lacking is on communication when there's an emergency.

Terrible. I chose to move schools from Southwest at a soulless attempt to have art curriculums in my transcript to get an extra grip onto art colleges, but that very small portion of my academic experience was simply not enough of an improvement from my previous school (Southwest High). This school...

This school is one of the worst schools I have ever attended in my life. The office does not care at all about your problems or concerns, not even the assistance principle. When students have zero period the office assistants are never available for us in case of any questions. The counselors do not...
