The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My son attended 4 yrs here. Just graduated this year. I can't emphasize enough of how good this school is, perfect fit for my son who works well with projects. A project based high school helped him with his path in seeking Engineering as a major. The school allows imagination and creativity to lead the students to their passion. Working with groups and mentors made him shine. He had the greatest staff who understood and encouraged him to push himself to be greater.

I have attended High Tech since Kindergarten, and the project-based learning style greatly impacted my personal and academic development. The flexibility in project building and the adaptive nature of the teachers is amazing.

I came into High Tech middle because of a recommendation from another parent. I am forever thankful for them because it is a much more welcoming community compared to the cesspits other schools are. The teachers care about you, students care about their academics, and violence is a much smaller and less prevalent issue compared to my old school.
I had bad experience at this school with the teachers, they need more supervision on the Teacher final decisions. Sometimes affects students but school never care even if speak with upper school staff.
Academically it is below average with no AP classes but the teachers are engaging. The sports program is a popularity contest run by the kids more than the coaches. The campus is safe but run down and often floods on rainy days.No real support systems here so be prepared to schedule off campus activi...
