The school is very dynamic and engaging. Everyone is nice to each other and treat the teachers with respect.

The fact that our school has "Advisory Olympics" is very unique. This is when different advisory classes from the school compete against each other in games like Taboo, Steal the Bacon and more. One whole day is dedicated to competing against each other and trying to get the most wins. This allows us to bond with our advisory class and it is just a really fun day overall.

Hiking is probably the most interesting after school class we have. This class is definitely something I wish I had taken. In this class, they learn about hiking skills and even go hiking in the canyons by our school. Recently, they raised money so they could all go to Yosemite which seemed so cool. I can tell that the teachers running the after school programs really care about their students and are extremely passionate as well.

My student went to High Tech Middle School for two years. Please don’t buy into the High Tech myth. The school is low tech and puts students way behind children in public school.
