Great school. If you want to pursue academics fully you can. There's kids who are fully invested in academics, kids who aren't going to college and skip most classes, and lots of kids in between. The sports teams were a lot of fun, although there is a heavy emphasis on band robotics and other 'scholarly' activities. The teachers were mostly great. Grade inflation and test retakes means you won't stress

Overall, this is a great school to be. Unfortunately the academic rigor does create problems. There's high levels of competition and grade culture, and some of the teachers need to be let go. The administration also is inactive at best and harmful at worst.

Clayton's academics are very good and there are a variety of classes and extracurriculars. However, the administration isn't the greatest at communication, and the student body is largely economically privileged.

I absolutely love everything about this school and community. The opportunities that are provided from classes to extra curricular opportunities is amazing. I would highly recommend sending your teens to Clayton High School. The curriculum they have always challe...
