My experience at Sumner Hill was the start of my better experiences concerning school. I've never really done well in academics and the environment provided really helped me improve with a lot. The school and overall district put time into making sure students are able to enjoy multiple extracurricular activities instead of having to pick one over the other and they still do.

The administration is VERY strict and most of the detentions issued are given for crazy reasons.

My oldest went to this school and now my youngest will addend this year. I love the fact that the 9th grade is separate from the 10th - 12th. So far I've had 2 daughters go through Sumner Hill and it was an AWFUL experience. The Administration at this school is the worst in the entire district.
