Hammond is a great school and i made a lot of friends that i will cherish after high school. The friends i made along the way was the best experience and the worst experience was getting through high school cause it was really fast but really slow at the same time. if i could change something i would change how i didn't do the healthcare all provided by school.

The school is one of the most diverse in Maryland. It was just renovated so all of the facilities and buildings are in excellent shape. The school culture is not very good, many kids skip class or are disrespectful, there are a lot of excellent teachers but the students don't take advantage of that.

My time at Hammond was a fast pace one starting high school off being online I did miss out on any real freshman experiences. So starting my 10th grade year was really important to me but was also hindered with the school going under construction for renovations. So my time really shined in my 11th grade year that's when most of the construction was finished and everyone was a lot more welcoming with the newer space compared to the old one. The quality of life took a leap in the right direction. My senior year was a lot slower getting ready for college and I didn't make as many social connections mainly sticking with my older ones but the ones I did make we with the staff and them giving me advice on how to move forward and prepare for times ahead and I'm grateful for the things they shared with me.

Teaching the children to hate and be violent at ice protests is not my idea of education

My kid is thriving at Hammond High and is in mostly AP/GT courses. Assignments and feedback are very organized. He seems to be enjoying himself, despite the long study hours . He enjoys friendships that are supportive. Ms. Reid is an engaged and effective Principal. The school sends emails to parent...
