My daughter entered into this school her freshman year of high school. From August when she started to January when I pulled her out she was physically assaulted on three if not four different occasions. All of these fights initiated by other girls in the school. One girl even went as far as to go on to my daughter's school bus and physically attacked her. She wasn't suspended or reprimandes because "she was changing schools". The school didn't give my daughter all of her credits because they claimed she didn't finish out the school year even though they told us the school could not insure her safety. A police report was filed and when the police finally got around to investigating we find out from the police that the school gave no comment whatsoever as to helping us get some type of Justice for the experience my daughter endured during her time at The Charles School. As a mother I could not allow my child to stay in such a toxic school environment.

I really enjoy being at this school. The class room sizes range from 20-30 people allowing students to get closer interaction with the teacher. I feel as if I can ask more questions and actually get help from staff members. In actuality the tutoring here has some good things and bad things about it. I respect that they are conscience of our time and try to work around our schedules as students. The only problem is when I find the times a little difficult to actually attend tutor sessions and when I don't feel as if had not been helped enough.

Lots of the students that go to the school say that they only stay for the early-college program. It's like it's the only thing they're holding on to.
