I started high school in 2021 when I just came to the United States. I started as a freshman, and it was really hard for me because I just moved to the United States and did not understand English very well and I also did not have any friends. I did not like the fact the students go smoke in the bathroom and other student bring bullied because they from African. but letter on when I was a junior the school changed a lot of stuff which helped the school a lot. like security was added, before entering the school your checked like in the airport, if any student is reported for bullying, they will get expel and there is no fighting anymore. it's always clean now. and the teaches are super supportive. the school lunch is also improved and there are a lot of games to play in classes when we have nothing to do. it is well developed and safe to be there.

It was a very good school. The teachers were all great. There were tons of class choices and sports were important for the school.

my experience being at independence is that its like any other high school. it has it good moments and its bad moments bu overall its alright.
