The project-based learning at community roots teaches kids confidence presentation skills and real world problem solving. My kids are thriving here. Parent involvement is at a high at the school

I have two children attending CRA, one in middle school and one in elementary school and I recommend the school to all families looking for a whole child/big picture approach to education. We attended several tours before entering the lottery, and were initially very impressed. The campus is gorgeous -beautiful trees, sustainable landscaping, a large vegetable and flower garden, a butterfly garden, bird feeders, etc. CRA also plans fun field trips, especially starting in 4th grade. I wish that I had taken my child out at 5th grade for a traditional middle school but COVID through us for a loop. This school is probably good for kids who are able to focus and follow directions, but not for kids who's executive function is still a work-in-progress. The teachers are pulled in many...
