GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

They helped me with my anxiety and accommodated me in the classroom. I would like to see changed more acceptance of students of color and LGBTQ.

Coopersville High School is a great school where there are so many programs and helpful staff that can get you on the right track to where you want to be. There are so many unique classes that are offered here and all of them have excellent teachers who teach them.

I feel very fortunate to have attended Coopersville throughout all 13 years of my education. Coopersville is well-rounded and is filled with great teachers and opportunities. Being able to attend a moderately sized school made my ability to get resources and feel heard very high while still being able to explore different types of personalities and academics. These things combined helped me receive a very well-rounded education. Because of Coopersvilles location and size, I had a very difficult time finding friends that I clicked with. As I developed more and grew a sense of self-identity I felt very out of place, there weren't very many people with the same experiences as me. As much as this made me feel like an outsider I don't feel like I received the real high school experience that some of my other friends and acquaintances did. Coopersville gave me a good education but it did not give me good connections.

Terrible school regarding violence and bullying. They do everything they can to hide it to protect their image.

I am an Alumni of Coopersville, I went there my entire life. Majority of the teachers in the high school were very aware of severe bullying and racism that was present on and off school grounds. The bully’s were often popular students that teachers encouraged by nominating them as Student of the mon...

Never go to this school because they don't help their students or respect their right as citizens
