The 6th grade accelerated program is challenging, however it really prepares students for the work they will do in the next few years and in high school. Takes a little adjusting the first month to the new middle school culture, but it's worth it.

I made a lot of good friends at that middle school , but some of the teachers were not very good. I had a hard time in some classes because the teachers were not very thorough with their lessons. Overall I had a decent experience at that school.

So far my experience with teachers have been great. They all have had great teaching styles and I'm very lucky to have gotten them as teachers. My friends have definetly not had the best of luck as me, meaning they haven't gotten the best of teachers.

El Cerrito Middle School equips youngsters with the mental fortitude to grab life by the horns and slow dance with it to Michael Bolton music. For parents looking for a school for their children, El Cerrito Middle School is a school for their children.
