I would like to see a change in the food. That is one of the biggest problems. There is a cafe at CHS and kids spend so much of their own money there because the school given food is either not good (ex. not fully cooked or just not appealing) or it just isn't enough to feed the children (ex. 4 pizza crunches or 3 pieces of chicken). A plus is if you do need to reach out for help you can find the right teachers but it is a school where you do need to ask for help you don't just get offered help.

The experience with the teachers was one of the most beneficial parts of my high school career, building a bond with them that will never break however the worst parts consisted of bullying and open hate towards minorities, but I could cope with it easier as a result of building relationships with teachers.

Cortland is a nice place, its average. But most teachers are pretty kind and do not yell at you. Not big diversity because its a small city.

The person below me. Shame on you! So what a student wants to challenge themselves! Maybe the person who recommended it thought it would do them some good! I was Special Ed for a year but still took honors classes and excelled over most of my classmates. Besides that Cortland truly is a terrible sch...

A large percentage of my classmates are very disrespectful of other students AND teachers/administrators. This behavior is tolerated, and no disciplinary action is taken. Not only are there no entrance exams for honors classes, but learning disabled students are being encouraged to enroll.
