Cottage Grove high school has been a great experience. I love this school. Im a athlete and our athletics are amazing. The teachers here are amazing too. They make sure to make each and every student here feel safe and comftorable. The food at CGHS isnt the best but thats okay. We make up for it with our school culture and involvment in our community. At CGHS we have tons of events, at school or in our community. I havent really had a bad experience here, its a great school that values your opinion and values. Just a great school and im very proud and happy that I have been able to attend such a great school.

Cottage Grove High School is a place that I find to be quite unique. It is in a small rural community, so diversity is often stifled. But I have found a strong community of other queer students and students of color who all have the same drive to succeed as me. Without them, I likely wouldn't have the same desire to leave this town and see what the world has to offer. The teachers are also part of that support group, and I am very grateful them for their role in my adolescence. CGHS has taught me that no matter where you come from or how many resources you have, you can still accomplish great things.

Cottage Grove High School was a very good school for college readyness and academics. But the way the deal with grief and counselors is not good and needs to change. After I graduated they got a whole new administration so I know it will be difficult to fix their problems. They have amazing teachers and all the teachers care about the students. The arts could use more funding. All the money goes to football and basketball. Most minor sports don't even get much money. The funds need to be distributed more fairly.

They have a huge bullying problem, and because it's "online" they aren't doing anything about it. Cyberbullying is a crime. And so is not reporting or helping said students who are getting bullied. Do better.
