GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is like most high school's with drama and students who want to go home, but the school does a good job of preparing you for life after collage. It has many different clubs and classes. But the teachers and students are nice and expecting.

I feel safe at this school. It is like one big, happy family. The staff and students have excellent relationships. There are many clubs and sports to try out and be apart of.

At Council Grove High school everyone is friendly. If you enjoy knowing everyone and being in a small class come to CG. We all appreciate each other and the hallways are friendly. The only downside to this school is it is either always way to cold or always way to hot. There isn't ever a happy medium for us students. The staff is great and know what they are doing. Some of the students are loud and obnoxious, but they get there work done. The school is very safe and on high security and that is always a plus when your child could be at risk. We don't have much here at Council Grove but our talents and education are great.
