It is overall a good school, the science and math departments are somewhat weak, but elective wise and with english and history, the departments often excel. I would love to see more department involvement, and a cleaner school, but with the lack of janitorial staff, we can't really complain

The best parts of charter oak high school is the tight nit community. I feel like most know each other and I like how friendly the staff and some of the students are. The worst parts of charter oak high school is the drama and gossip amongst the students but that may just be my personal experience. I would like to see more school activities such as assembly's, pep rally's and events and more school spirit overall.

Charter Oak High School is a high family environment school, with a strong sports importance. I would not say that their academics are the best part of the school, although the teachers and administration staff were always supportive. The school is very community based and a fun place to be before you move on to college.
