From being a huge fan of this school our experience has flipped 180 in the last couple of years. They changed the grading system on a whim and it has created havoc. This can have devastating effect on college aspirants. DEIS initiatives are non-existent. There is lot of churn in staff. Club activities are not supported - no staff support is provided. Teachers make racist and condescending comments towards students and get away with it. The math department needs to get off their high horse.

I love the relationship between students and teachers. The academics are very strong but taught in a friendly environment.

I love how small the classes sizes are at Athenian because they allow for a better student-teacher relationships. They also encourage students to seek help more and help maintain a safe and balanced environment for learning.
