GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I'm currently a high school senior but I have been going to this school since sixth grade. I have attended Dawson from kindergarten to third grade as well but i come from a military family, so we had to pick up and leave. Every time I came back to Dawson it never failed to amaze me that the teachers are really caring, and you can learn a lot with what they teach and how they teach.

My experience at Dawson High School was very fun because it brought me to where I am now and graduated and ready to go to college. It helped me build strong bonds with students and some teachers and it helped me get a little start on ml college and my future with dual credit classes. What I liked about my experience at Dawson high was that it really gave me a push on college studies to get further into it. What I would like to change about dawson is how they run the school though and how they treat kids sometimes because it was a bit rough on everyone at school.
