I absolutely love this school! I'm very pleased with the class sizes. It is a older school but very clean. Every teacher, secretary, and administrator, make Northwood a wonderful, safe place for your child to get an education.

Northwood is a great school! In response to the last post, challenges are great; but one shouldn't forget that you can overdo it. Are children losing the ability to cope with boredom? Sadly, after months of trying to work with the teacher and principal we had to pull my son and do homeschooling. He was not challenged in the least. And when we asked for a challenge we were told- he is above level-- what more do you want? It was my fault that he had been given so many experiences....

Love this neighborhood and this school! Principal Dr. Best is the best! My daughter loves Ms. Ferguson as her second grade teacher, always upbeat with a smile on her face. You could tell the kids really love her.
