It was a close family knit culture but sometimes that is not a positive thing. Faculty and parents got too involved in the personal lives of the students. I did not feel like I was set up for success when I graduated nor did I feel like I was exposed to a lot opportunities.

The best part about Newton County Academy is the environment. Everyone tries their best to make you feel at home at all times. NCA truly feels like a family environment. It is based on Christian roots which allows us to have religious freedoms in classrooms. I will never regret my choice of transferring to NCA because it has allowed me to be myself and be a better person every day. NCA has also allowed me many opportunities to fully prepare myself for college.

The staff and administration truly care about the students. They are not just a number and a test score. The school is more concerned with helping mold brilliant, caring, respectful students than scoring well on a test. The students receive a top notch education and are held to a high standard.
