Im a senior so i've been going to Delano High School for about 4 years now. Some of the best things about my school are the academics, we compete with some of the best schools in Bakersfield and beat the other schools in our town. Another good thing is our sports, we have a big variety and we like to compete.

Delano High School has its fair share of ethnic diversity. The main two ethnic groups that you will find are Hispanics and Filipinos with a little bit of every other ethnic group mixed in. The school has its bit of history that will make you patriotic about your school. Overall it's a very solid learning place that offers an average education but is fun and enjoyable.

Some things I like about Delano High School are that the teachers are always available for tutoring and willing to help the students. I also like the variety of clubs DHS has to offer, i am apart of the Spanish club, senior class club, and asb.
