The mastery grading scale does not prepare students for college. It only prepares students for the workforce which is not beneficial for those who are college bound.

I have been going to Rutherford B. Hayes High School since my freshman year. I have enjoyed my time there and I have met some of my closest friends and even my future roommate there.

The best times of my high school experiences were with the sports programs and events. And the class was called house. We had house games where our house teams would compete for the house cups in various events.

I would not recommend Hayes HS. The basic requirements of students are no longer enforced. We had to get it added to our daughter’s 504 so that she wasn’t allowed to turn her homework in late and get full credit. A few weeks after this, we changed it to no longer than a week.
