I moved from Demopolis in sophomore year, never knew how GREAT the education I was offered until I left. This school was a very happy, safe, and amazing learning environment. The teachers truly do care for your growth and have amazing standards they teach. I never really had a problem with the food, or the buildings, or even the clubs. It was a very involved school. A lot of activities and opportunities . some of the administration could be harsh and bitter at times though. Some teachers who need to retire already. the little things really.

It is a good high school compared to others facilities but they have some questionable executive and leadership decisions. I think people would have good opportunities with DHS.

I love the many opportunities that the school offers students to grow and succeed and the teachers' dedication to their students.

This *public* school, once a year, has mandatory assembly during which a man comes in and preaches christianity, accompanied by a christian band. This is wholly inappropriate conduct for a public school. Many of the students who are not christian find this assembly to not only be a horrendous waste...
