The Bill Roberts school, home of the Bobcats, in Central Park is a Denver Public School serving students between early childhood education through eighth grade. It’s located in the South End Neighborhood. The school’s kindergarten through fifth-grade curriculum incorporates Denver Public Schools' daily 90 minutes of reading, writing, and literacy skills, and a mathematics program that includes real-life problem solving and communication.
Aside from its daily enrichment programs of art, music, physical education, dance, and STEM, the school provides support for students who benefit from special education, gifted and talented programs, and before and after school care. Bill Roberts School is also keen on being eco-friendly and uses geothermal renewable energy to heat and cool the building.
Part of the school’s educational process is making sure all students adhere to strict rules, including dress codes, behavioral expectations, and academic performance. Bill Roberts is ranked #28 in Colorado Elementary Schools and #14 in Colorado Middle Schools, ranking #7 and #4 in the Denver Public Schools system.
