GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Desert Hot Springs High School has been a great experience for me. I've made many friends and found the teachers genuinely willing to help students, even outside of school hours. The school community is very accepting, and there's always a group where you can feel you truly belong. The support from both peers and staff makes it a positive environment for learning and personal growth.

Its ok. I graduate next year but my sister grduated in 2017. Its what i look forwards to in the morning. waking up and going to school to be in my classes. We do get judged and we accept it because we are better than that on so many levels. Come see who DHSHS really is.

The school cares about it's students. The VPs welcomed my son, new as a junior, and was able to help him work through some hurdles. The teachers care, and look out for students.

The Principal George Bullis is very accessible with the parents, we have parent center and I feel very welcome, when I have a concern about any issues they help me.

My school is by far the best school in the county. We're not the richest, we don't have the most amazing sports teams, we don't have the nicest classrooms, but we do have something that a lot of schools don't.. We have heart, and pride, and spirit. We are a family. We get judged so much just because...
