Too many spoiled and entitled kids with daddy's "money" (lol). The school in my opinion fails to acknowledge a lot of the more artistic gifts some students have. People kiss the athletic kids rumps. It would have been nice when I was a student if the faculty stressed a lot more about inclusion for all students. That was rarely emphasized. I often saw too many kids eating alone at lunch on a bench which made me pretty upset.

I love the community of Detroit Lakes. You can go anywhere around town and someone will notice you from being on the basketball team or something of the sorts. At school, all teachers are very willing and ready to go out of their way to help anyone exceed. Not only do most teachers want everyone to reach their full potential, they all also want to find a way for kids to get more involved. Rather it be sports or extracurriculars. Detroit Lakes has an amazing community.

We love it! This community is so supportive and my children have had many opportunities to grow and learn and participate in various activities. I feel like there is something for everyone.

This school is one of the worst I've seen. Very unprofessional and biased teachers. My children were practically driven right out of the school and weren't allowed to walk for their own graduation ceremonies due to the school's extreme rules.
