One of the best schools I've been to (the only school I've been to actually, except this year). This school and its teachers have changed my life. When I first started here, I was talkative and got in trouble for it, but now after I left, I barely talk in class, especially when I'm not supposed to. One of my second-cousins graduated from this school and now is a junior at Renaissance High School.

It is extremely hard to communicate with teachers. Bates Academy has very poor response to children and parent complaints of bullying. The administrative staff is slow to respond, if they even choose to take action at all. The supervision is awful with 30 students to one instructor and 90 students to one recess assistant, which leads to children bei...
