Bates isn't the best school. But it is far from the worst. I grew alot as a student and person thanks to the foundation I created at Bates. I think it is in fact a great school. Just don't set your expectations too high. It requires that you child is supported and is very focused.

Bates Academy has very poor response to children and parent complaints of bullying. The administrative staff is slow to respond, if they even choose to take action at all. The supervision is awful with 30 students to one instructor and 90 students to one recess assistant, which leads to children bei...
