The best parts of school are probably the music and art programs/teachers. They are very engaging and can provide a lot of opportunities if you put in the work. I think that the school community is lacking. Every high school has bullies, but JD has a lot. I also think that many math and global teachers seem to hate their job and their students and don't do a good job teaching.

The best part about JD is the opportunities to develop out community. There are many different clubs offered and they take steps to better diversify the school. The worst part about JD is there is a very big lack of communication from the student body to the higher administration.

Some of the best things about the school is that many of the teachers truly have your best interest at heart.Any time you need anything they are more than willing to make time and make sure that you are caught up with anything you need help with.Activities are amazing and they do a good job at making sure the kids in the school have a say in what they would like to see change. Teachers faculty and the students all work hard to keep it running smoothly without problems. also we have amazing academic and sports programs for students of many different ranges and have musicals that anyone can partake in.The school show it's spirit and love for each other on a daily basis and im glad i was apart of it bit sad its my last year at th school

Our child has asked for electives but due to excuse after excuse the classes have not been scheduled. Other students with different councillors...

Jamesville DeWitt High School has offered me opportunities that I don't think many other area public schools offer. I have been involved in many of the schools well run clubs and have seen the vast majority of my teachers be professionals who both have a passion for their classes and a gift for educ...
