This school has a lot of administrative issues, i.e., admins getting in disagreements with students and causing unnecessary stress or discourse. Academics aren't the best in the county but has IB diploma which is very sought after by many.

Dexter High School is in a rural area, and there is very little diversity within the school. I am probably one of the only Asian- if not the only Asian (besides the few exchange students)- in the school. My school also merges IB and AP classes which is a weird thing to do for the curriculum and I wish to see that changed.

Dexter High School was an excellent school to attend during high school. The community has the resources to go above and beyond for students and their access, almost all classes had laptops for the classes to use when I was attending. They do a great job of incorporating technology into the lessons as they are aware of its prevalence in the real world.

My daughter is a current student at DHS. They have appallingly bad support services for mental health issues, including bullying, depression and even suicidality. We have found the teachers to be lacking in compassion and the counseling office to be overworked and inattentive. Do not expect to hear...

I absolutely hate this school. Ever since I came here I've been depressed as hell. The teachers don't care about you and they assign so much homework, I feel like I'm drowning in it.
