My experience with Diamond Bar High School isn't what it might seem. Overall, as an academic school, the classes are challenging and the right amount of difficult to learn. However, teachers have different ways to teaching and sometimes it doesn't work out best. I would love for a change in the method of teaching/learning at Diamond Bar High School.

I like the DBHS environment, however when it comes to the math and science department, the teachers are really bad. I had a math teacher my sophomore year who would be absent at least once a week, and would often take days off a day right before our test. She would NOT respond to any emails you sent, unless you complain to your grade level coordinator. I had multiple breakdowns because of her. However other than her I really enjoyed my time, the students are really nice, and they offer lots of advanced classes.

The academics at Diamond Bar High School prepared me well for college. I enjoyed all my classes and the teachers care about their students greatly. However, I do think some of the resources were limited and you had to search for them outside of school.

Kurt Davies has identified himself as this schools athletic director at a softball game. I saw him yelling at the coach of another school and belittling her for being a female. And he said she’s “just a special education teacher.” A man this disrespectful to women and rude to those with special need...
