I love my high school in Dickson Tennessee. Our school culture and school spirit is unmatched. We have fun pep rally's and traditions especially for seniors that go back 75 years. The one I am looking forward to it the tradition at midnight all seniors roll down the hill to celebrate completing float decorating for homecoming. Our high school sit up on a hill. I would like to see more stability with teachers. Since Covid I feel there has been some turn over. For years the original teachers are still there just certain departments seem to have more turn over.

During my experience at Dickson County high school, I have loved it. Of course, there have been some ups and downs, especially as an African-American female student. I have felt that there is little to know diversity when it comes to African-American/students of color. Of course, there are many students of color at the campus, but little to no accessibility to things launching careers and involvement in the communities outside of high school.

The biggest eat event at our high school is our Homecoming. It's everyone's overall favorite part. Dickson County High School definitely goes big with this event.

Fix: Scare them don't suspend them just warn them, call people to office when they have bad grades/are vulgarTeachers: Any teachers b...

I went to Dickson County HS 30 years ago. I'm still a Cougar at heart. When I went there, academic activities including the Math Contest, the Science Fair, and other competitions were considered very important. We had several students place well in both statewide and national competitions. Sports ha...
