GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It is a great school for academic learning, and most of the classes' material is easy to learn. Most of the teachers are very helpful, however, some lack connection with the students. The administration is also strict and sometimes neglectful of their students' needs and wants. The involvement is okay.

Some of my best experiences revolve around the classes in which I have took. Coming for a small town and being able to have such opportunities when it comes to the classes in which i have took is amazing. The teachers are great to, some more than ever. The teachers guide you as best they can anf make ut possible for you to be comfortable with them and allow you to view them as someone you can look upon in the future. Some of my worst experiences would be as most schools complain is the food, we need better food. Theres also times when students aren't heard, and i feel that needs to be changed. Other than that for being such a small town its an amazing school to go too.

Well with Douglas High School there is a lot to be desired, but there are some things that they do right. For example the education they provide is top notch providing college courses and opportunities to have in work experience at the place of desired work. The only thing I would like see changed is probably the lunch food.
