I had a good experience at Dover Area HS. I believe I am prepared to go to college. Dover helped me branch out and become more involved. The community was so welcoming and helpful. I hope more students start to become more involved because that's when I noticed I started enjoying it more.

My experience at Dover Area High School was overall pretty positive. Our principal is great, but some of the other administrators aren't the best. Also, my guidance counselor was unhelpful at times. He didn't really seem to care much about my future until senior year. Even though there were some rough patches, I was happy at Dover. There was a lot of great activities like sports games, trunk or treats, and fundraisers.
3.0 Junior

As a junior from Dover, I have enjoyed the music program the school has to offer. I have participated in the high school's marching and concert band throughout my high school experience so far. I have made new friends and I learn something new everyday by justy making music with my peers. one thing I would like to see change at Dover is seeing the administrative being more flexible with the students. One example of this is letting the students take their time in deciding what they want to do with their future. I feel that the school rushes the students future and I feel is if the students feel they need to grow up quicker than what we really want to.

Excellent! My son was in private school during part of his elementary years but I transferred him to public to be challenged. Now he is number 1 in his class and his PSAT scores are remarkable, his grades are excellent and he is continuing to take AP and honors class all while in the marching band

As a parent of three children that all attend Dover school district I am very pleased with the schools. Parents have to get involved.
