Hillside has given me the opportunity to attend a local community college. This helped me to finish my associate degree and make new friends. I have grown and learned from my experiences at this community college and it has helped me to be college ready.

I would like to see more parent participation. Also, our administration works hard to provide a safe environment for us. However, there are bad seeds in every bunch. The media highlights the negative stuff and never the positive. Our graduating seniors are awarded millions of dollars in scholarships each year. We have smart students working hard to make a school the best in the state.

My experience going to this school was an overall 7.8 out of 0 because this school has to many fights and cold food besides that the clubs re really good me events they have.

This is horrible school. The staff don't care about the children and the principal is horrible. All the kids do here is fight. They don't have services for special needs children and will discriminate against you.

Hillside high school is the best high school in the city of Durham and beyond.The teacher challenge the students to make them push to be great, well rounded productive citizens.Both of my children and myself are graduates of Hillside high school and I recommend this outstanding school to any student...
