Research Triangle High School is a pretty small school composed of around 600 people. This creates good teacher to student ratio. The community diverse and many are able to find their own groups. Though we have many clubs, not a lot of them have active involvement. Sports do not go very far and the facility is small and we don't have a gym.

Overall this is a great school. If you are looking for the typical high school experience with football, then I would not go here. If you are looking for a school who can prepare you for research, internships, and college, this is the place to go.

I've enjoyed the past 3 years at RTHS. The teachers are super friendly, extremely supportive, and helpful in every aspect of the word. I have no doubt that some of the friendships I have made here will last for life.

RTHS is a beautiful school but the new principal has turned the school into a very difficult place for teachers and students.Students and teachers have no say in what happens at the school, and there are constant changes being made without the knowledge of students and teachers.

We have been at the school for 5 years. The principal’s leadership was great back in 2017/2018. He lost key leaders and it turns out they were the reason the school was a gem. My daughter came in as a freshman and did well. It was a change as it was a new way of learning but they are aware of that and build the learning curve into the curriculum.
