The best part of South River is the STEM program that is offered. This magnet program gives students an alternate course that specializes in project based learning. However, there is a lottery system to get into this program. This means that many kids do not have the resources that STEM does. I don't know if that's good or bad.

There are countless amounts of support areas if academic help is needed which is convenient and helpful. Additionally, safety is South River High School's number one priority so that students and parents feel safe.
