Students practice future-ready competencies in a state-of-the-art facility at South View Middle School. As one of two middle schools in the Edina Public School District, South View promotes academic excellence and award-winning school programming. While class sizes are generally slightly larger than those at Valley View, the smaller student population size at South View promotes school-wide community support.
South View Middle School students can participate in athletics at the Junior Varsity and Varsity level. The Art Downey Aquatic Center and Kulman Field are modern training facilities to prepare for future success in athletics and teamwork challenges. Other extracurricular activities promote leadership, skill building and fun-filled memories.
This highly rated middle school is also home to a dedicated engineering and computer science department. Students can take courses in robotics, engineering, coding, electronics and other related areas. The department offers these courses as part of the national Project Lead the Way program.

I go to South View Middle School. And they foster Safety, Learning, and Respect as their core-values. It is Safety, Learning, and Respect, everyday in every way! Dr. Anderson, the principal is nice and stands for no bullying. High recommend.
