Centrally located in Mountain View, Parkview Elementary School educates students from kindergarten to eighth grade. Residential tree-lined streets border the school property. Supported by a dedicated faculty, Parkview Eagles “rise to great heights” each and every day. Parkview runs two Spanish Dual Immersion Programs, one for kindergarten through sixth grade students and another for seventh and eighth grade students. In addition to its academic offerings, the school also provides performing arts classes, afterschool programs and extracurricular clubs. School administrators encourage parents to become involved in school activities. Parkview provides several workshops in English and Spanish to help parents become actively engaged in student education. The school offers a gym and several playground areas in addition to ample outdoor seating at the front of the school for outdoor lunch and other gatherings. Parkview’s recreational facilities include paved courts for basketball and other games and a large field for soccer, kickball and other field sports. The front of the school also has a paved, lined court for outdoor games.
