GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Elizabethton High School gives students the fantastic opportunity to figure out precisely what they want to do as a career by providing students with so many CTE classes that allow for true hands-on learning. Elizabethton High School has allowed me and many others around me to learn and grow as people thanks to the fantastic staff and people that surround us daily. I am so grateful for the four years I have had at Elizabethton High School and I am so thankful for all the fantastic people I have met and memories I have made.

My experience was great my teachers always helped me with homework or anything that I needed. During my senior year i suffered an acl tear. The staff helped me in any way possible from helping me get to class to getting me ice or ibuprofen. I always had a place to prop up my leg during class which was so nice. I also truly learned and gained knowledge from my classes it was never boring in the classroom the teachers always found a way to make it interesting. My teachers were also some of my biggest supporters they pushed me to do my best and to make new friends. Some of the friends I have today I would have never talked to if it wasn't for Elizabethton high school.

This is a good school all around. The teachers are nice amd easy to get along with. Small school setting so less people for less stress but easy to meet new people. Easy to get around as well or ask for help.

As a former student I can say I had a great experience. Sure there are Cliques but there are cliques in EVERY school. Nothing new there. The large majority of the teachers seem to genuinely care about the students. For a mid sized school they offer a lot of programs and clubs and extracurricular act...

I am a parent of an 11th grader, and agree with another reviewer that the school is full of cliques. However, I don't feel that that is the fault of the school itself. I do however, have a problem with the fact that last year the school decided to stop making grades a factor in whether one is allowe...
