The overall experience at Elk Grove High School was very interesting. The design and layout of the school is extremely outdated, and needs quick remodeling. The teachers and environment were on the higher end of what you'd expect from a high school. There's a lot worse schools in the district, but there's also better.

Elk Grove was an interesting, borderline prison-like high school. There was no off-campus lunch and the administration became more strict over the years which was considerably irritating. A lot of the teachers are burnt out or leave altogether. There are still some amazing teachers and I miss them very much. Student parking lot is a nightmare.

Overall, it has been a good experience here. While there are a lot of academic opportunities, I wish that academics was celebrated more and students were more involved in the academic after school activities. I have had a lot of AP class opinions, and have been able to gain a good number of college credit through these classes.

I love this school. I have excellent teachers and anytime I have needed help i have gotten it. Also the music teacher is amazing. I love being in band and color guard and this is my first year of high school. So this not a bad school in my opinion.

I graduated from EGHS and I loved it! The teachers really put an emphasis on leadership and if you want to play sports or get involved with a club, there are a lot of opportunities and encouragement. The school is rich with history and pride and tradition, something I'm not sure many students today...
