GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Small size which is good for class sizes. Your student has the opportunity to also enroll at Seacoast School of Technology for specialized programs in Stem, culinary etc. Only basic AP classes. Recent high turnover of teachers. Overall both my kids have been able to utilize all of the available course offerings to provide rigor needed for college applications.

The academics could certainly be better and more challenging, but all of the teachers are extremely friendly and willing to help you. The environment of the school is pretty good. Although I disagree with some of the decisions that the school made concerning COVID-19, they did a pretty good job overall.

There are plenty of extracurricular opportunities at the school. Theses clubs and organizations are only high quality when the students take them seriously.

Rogue Superintendent & School board treats parents like the bottom of the barrel. Conditioning students to live in a state of fear and prioritizing national, political agendas over local needs and wants of residents

Although we do not like the Competency Based Grading system for our own children, we have seen it’s successes with other families. Overall, the staff here encourage learning and support their students.

I was lucky and was not apart of competency based grading until my senior year. However, I would say that it is not hard to excel at this school. The classes are fairly easy to pass with minimal studying. There are no midterms or final exams. If I had not taken an AP class as well as a running-start...
