More access to teachers for additional help and teaching. Beyond the classroom time, having access and more time to have with teachers and extra clarification, would better help my learning. I know others desire this more as well.

I really like East and I think its a good school. I am only a freshman but I like all my teachers and classes. I think that I am learning and doing really well. Some classes are hard but I think I just have to study more. I don't do any school sports, only out of school ones, but I have heard from my friends that the coaches are super helpful. I think the cafeteria food is better than what you see on TV but they could have more healthy options. I don't just mean healthy meals, which they have, but I mean they could make the unhealthy food a little better. Every time I get pizza I have to use a tissue to dab up all the oil, and the meat is a little suspicious too. But overall, it's a lot better than what I thought it would be. I think Downingtown East Highschool is a really good place for people, and it's great for people like me who aren't sure of a proffesion yet.

Downingtown East is a decent school with APs and honors classes. The sports teams are well funded but the music department is largely underfunded. The counselors are largely unhelpful but most of the teachers are willing to work with you.

Downingtown East High School does a great job preparing kids for college. I have two graduates who did and are doing excellent in college. I have a senior who is doing very well All did very very well on their SAT's and had no trouble getting into the college of their choice.
