The staff here works so hard every day. The school has a great cultural dynamic. The school is very close and acts as a family.

Weeden Elementary is a school that embraces everyone as they are right when they walk in. The teachers at Weeden exemplify how much they care and love their students on a daily basis through their actions, words, and enthusiasm for what they are teaching. The administration at Weeden is the same, they care for the students and faculty like they are their own family. Each time I have walked into the doors of Weeden Elementary I enter and leave with a smile on my face.

My children started at Weeden in the last 9 weeks of school in their first grade year and I was very disappointed in that their academics were so far behind the school they came from in south Alabama. I love that there is diversity in this school. It helps children to grow up understanding how other people live and how other people want to be treated. :) Awesome that there is only about 13 students to each teacher, also.

I think Weeden is a fine school and that the test scores do not accurately represent the quality of teachers or curriculum at the school.
