Florence was a fantastic school. Its location in the Deep South made it lacking in the diversity department, but the community was tight. In a small town like Florence, everyone knows everyone. The staff put an insane amount of effort into making sure the information they taught us would stick, and our results in our district testing leaderboards mirrored this.

It's adequate. Nothing really excels as best in the state but also nothing is too poor to consider making a fuss over.

Overall my experience with Florence High School has been great as I have made many connections and relationships within the community. There are many ways to be involved at Florence and I love how everyone has a place where they can thrive.

My school is a wonderful place to be filled with exciting and ambitious students. I feel like my school can become better with its "Great School Rating" if we get just more "Great Students"

I am a former student (2005 grad). I am shocked it is rated an 8.... My reasons for one star rating: - Extreme disciplinary problems - No parent involvement - Teachers gossip and bully worse than students - I was so poorly prepared for college. I can count on two hands, including myself, the people...
