Overall since i've been there the school itself has some work that's needs to be done. But overall it's actually a nice school.

The best part of my experience here in Forest Park High School is being in the band because it's an activity that I enjoy with a friendly community and the worst parts of my experience would have to be the halls and bathrooms smelling like marijuana because of the kids smoking. Some changes I would like to see is cleaner lunch tables when we go into lunch and not just half clean tables. I would also like to see the bathrooms open because they don't always have them open because of kids skipping in there but that can change.

Forest Park High was nothing of what i expected. I have made some memories there and made many friends. It has fully prepared me for college and the outside world.

The counselors are a HOT MESS! But overall, the only person in charge of a students education is the student. The student makes it a Good OR a Bad school for them. Don't listen to the bad reviews. Forest Park High is an overall great school. The students are mature and the teachers are professional. It is also the most diverse school on the south side.
