Although Carroll High School has a very high level of academics, many of their teachers do not meet the level of education that the school expects from students. Also, to rise to the top of the class, it is significantly harder to do so because of the competition between the large numbers of students. Carroll does provide many opportunities and activities, however, so the good outweighs the bad.

Carroll High School provides students with amazing opportunities to prepare themselves for the future. There are options to complete internships, college classes, or trade schools. Overall academics are also very good.

The academics and opportunities at Carroll are immense. I have been able to take a variety of classes as well as learn quickly and at a high level. One thing I would like to see changed however is the involvement of the guidance counselors in their students success. I was not properly educated on the courses I was taking and from that I took the same curriculum three times just with a different class name. Luckily the teacher saw this and gave me different learning opportunities so that I still had an opportunity to learn new information and continue my education.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Carroll High School. I feel very grateful to have attended a public school that did such a magnificent job of readying students for College. It's no secret that Northwest Allen County Schools have a more challenging curriculum than surrounding districts including FWCS...
