GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Fosston Secondary School is a pretty good school. There aren't a lot of opportunities for learning basic skills, like taxes or mechanics. However, it is a great environment for academics. The staff is understanding and there are many opportunities for earning college credits.

It's a school lunch, it's not meant to be glamorous and it never will. It's meant to feed an abundant amount of students while being both low cost and somewhat healthy and that's exactly what it is.

There is a weightroom and a pool available for student use both before and after school. Students are required to take phy-ed class up to sophomore year and there are many athletics for students to participate in. Also in the mornings in the summer there is a work out program called Speen and Excel for students to attend if they wish.
