It's good. Some of the newly hired teachers stink though and cannot teach, so when you receive a test it's difficult to pass. I think the school also spends its funds on stupid things sometimes and they could be better allocated.

My experience at Ramapo high school is overall good. Much of the staff in the school care deeply about their students well being, and constantly create a positive experience for students while also mentally challenging them on the subjects they teach. The programs offered at Ramapo, at least the ones I've taken, are well run, and live up to the expectations of the courses. While, (due to personal preference) I don't enjoy all of the classes I take, I can at least find enjoyment and engaging facts in subjects I'm not very interested in. As someone who's very interested in world history and government, I am extremely satisfied with the history department at Ramapo high school. Both of the history teachers I've had at Ramapo go beyond expectations in terms of course material, and go to great lengths to make classes engaging and interesting. You can tell that much of the staff enjoy their jobs, and I believe that that's what makes Ramapo such an amazing school.

The school is a very racist and victim-blaming environment and not particularly an exciting experience for people who are not white or are victims of sexual abuse. The diversity is next to nothing. The food options are great and there's many choices of electives and classes. I wouldn't send your child here if you hope they grow up to be a good person. Great academics but the teachers are mostly on the conservative side if that's not what you're looking for.

Teacher appear to be concerned about the quality of education. Principal cares about the school as a whole. However, I would like for students to have a few extra minutes to get from class to class during the day. Most students haul all of their belongings from class to class because there is no tim...

There are several clubs- something for everyone- Teacher and counselors are involved in student’s success and make themselves readily available to answer questions from students and parents.
